The Jaguar New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers vehicles originally specified and built by Jaguar Land Rover Limited, United Kingdom, for sale in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. This limited warranty for 2015 model year cars provides 4 years or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) of bumper-to-bumper coverage. Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance
The first scheduled maintenance is complimentary.* Please refer to the Passport to Service booklet for recommended scheduled maintenance details.** Failure to have your vehicle serviced at the specified interval may invalidate the warranty. If you own a Jaguar car with 1,000 miles AND 30 days remaining of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, and would like to maintain the reassurance and protection against unexpected repair costs please contact your local Jaguar Retailer for the Jaguar Vehicle Protection Plan.

This comprehensive coverage provides protection against costly repairs due to mechanical failures. From engines and suspensions, to heating/cooling and electrical, the Jaguar Vehicle Protection Plan covers the majority of components originally covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. In the event covered repairs are performed by a Jaguar Retailer in the United States, the $100 deductible will be waived to $0.

2016 New Vehicle Limited Warranty And Scheduled Maintenance

2016 F-TYPE Limited Warranty and Roadside Assistance Coverage*

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty and Roadside Assistance Coverage for your 2016 Model Year Jaguar F-TYPE is extended to 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Please review the Passport to Service provided with your vehicle purchase for additional information, terms, conditions, and limitations regarding your New Vehicle Limited Warranty and Roadside Assistance Coverage.

New Vehicle Scheduled Maintenance Coverage

Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance Coverage for the 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE covers factory recommended scheduled maintenance as detailed in the Passport to Service for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. A Service Interval Indicator appears every 16,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever occurs first, to tell you when necessary vehicle maintenance needs to be scheduled. In order to receive scheduled vehicle maintenance, you must bring your vehicle to an authorized Jaguar retailer within 1 month or 1,000 miles of the scheduled maintenance interval. Customers who do not bring their vehicle to a retailer within the required time for scheduled maintenance may not receive the missed interval service.

Some owners may wish to have their engine oil changed more frequently than required, should the vehicle have a high proportion of short journeys or operate in severe conditions. These extra services may be performed on a customer pay basis and the Service Interval Indicator will not be reset.

The Passport to Service’s Maintenance Schedule Table describes the service and maintenance to be performed on your vehicle. Jaguar may publish updates to your Retailer for any changes to the maintenance schedules published in the Passport to Service. Wear and tear items (e.g., brake pads and windshield wiper blades) are excluded.

Having your vehicle serviced and maintained at the specified interval is critical to maintaining its long term durability. Failure to do this may invalidate the warranty under certain circumstances.

Jaguar InControl® Remote™ and Jaguar InControl® Protect™ Coverage

The 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE Warranty Coverage includes complimentary Jaguar InControl® Remote™ and Jaguar InControl® Protect™ coverage for 5 years.

The InControl Remote™ App offers several features designed to help you ahead of a journey by, among other things:

• Allowing the owner to remotely access their vehicle and activate the climate control to heat or cool the cabin to a target temperature by remote starting the vehicle ahead of a trip.
• The owner can lock or unlock the doors remotely.
• Activate “Beep & Flash” to help locate the vehicle in crowded parking lots.

InControl Protect™ provides you with peace of mind wherever you are through, among other things:

• An SOS Emergency Call that notifies the emergency services of your vehicle’s location in the event of an accident where the airbags are deployed.
• A Breakdown call button to contact Jaguar Roadside Assistance.

Transfer of Coverage

Paint And Corrosion Warranty

Paint Surface Warranty

With this Warranty, if any paintwork needs attention due to manufacturing defect, the work will be completed by a Jaguar Authorized Retailer, free of charge.

This coverage lasts 4 years or 50,000 miles; whichever comes first, from the first in-use or retail delivery date of your new Jaguar.

Corrosion Protection Warranty

Should any part of the bodywork of the vehicle be perforated by rust corrosion, the panel(s) affected by the perforation will be repaired or replaced by an authorized retailer completely free of charge, regardless of any change in vehicle ownership for 6 year unlimited mileage.

If your car is in an accident and needs repairs to the bodywork, they should be carried out by a Jaguar Approved Repair Center in order for the repaired sections to still be covered by the Corrosion Protection Warranty.

Parts And Accessories Warranty

With this Warranty, if any part or accessory needs to be repaired or replaced, the work will be carried out by a Jaguar Authorized Retailer, free of charge.

This Warranty covers every genuine part or accessory purchased from a Jaguar Retailer.

Accessories fitted to a new vehicle

Jaguar parts and accessories are covered by a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever is greater.

General conditions

Our parts and accessories comply with Jaguar’s safety and reliability standards, so we strongly recommend you only choose genuine Jaguar parts and accessories for your car.

Other parts and accessories have not been tested and approved by Jaguar, so we aren’t able to evaluate their quality. Any damage caused by non-genuine Jaguar parts or accessories is not covered by Jaguar Warranties.
